Lifestyle Favorites of 2017

Families, Maternity, Newborns, Photography, PortraitsLaura KittrellComment

I have had the incredible privilege of photographing so many special events and memories for people this year! As I started pulling my favorites I realized I had to break it down into lifestyle favorites and bridal, wedding, and engagement favorites. There are just too many to pick from! I have gotten to photograph several births, siblings meeting for the first time, newborn snuggles, special announcements, and the sweetest families! I am so grateful for those who have continued to allow me to photograph their special memories and those who let me in for the first time! Honestly, it has been an incredible year and such a privilege for me!! I am so grateful, and I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store for this little business!

Sadie (6 Months)

I'm sorry, but if seeing this precious family and little angel face doesn't make you melt I just don't know what will! I got to take Sadie's newborn photos, and I was so excited when her mom asked me to take her 6 month pictures as well! She was so good and gave me the most precious little faces! Her perfect strawberry hair and big blue eyes made for some beautiful pictures! I get to take more of her in just a few weeks and I cannot wait to see how much she has grown!!

Favorites from 2016

Bridals, Engagements, Families, Maternity, Newborns, Photography, Portraits, WeddingsLaura KittrellComment

I cannot adequately express my gratitude to all of my sweet clients in 2016. I have truly been so blessed by so many. As I was going through all of the many sessions, weddings, and special events I had the privilege of photographing this year, I felt so thankful. I had the opportunity to shoot countless families, lots of weddings, a few births, and so many other special memories.

This was my first full year both working and being a mama. So many of my first weddings in 2016 I spent breaks in the back of my car pumping (haha). Many of you were kind enough to reschedule if my little one was sick. I cannot get over the grace that I was shown.

Thank you so much to those of you who have allowed me to be a small part of your memories. Thank you to those who have come back year after year to let me take photos of your precious families. Thank you to those who let me be in the room as you gave birth. Thank you to my sweet couples who allowed me to be with you through your engagement and your wedding days. I am overwhelmed by how this little business has grown.

To those of you that I get the privilege of serving in 2017, I am so excited!! Thank you for entrusting me to capture  your most priceless memories!

Enjoy a few of my favorites from this year......It was tough to narrow it down! :)

Little Miss Anne Hayden....

I was so excited when her mama emailed me to take some photos of her! When I arrived and saw this beautiful girl with a head full of curls, I knew they were going to be BEAUTIFUL! I basically didn't have to direct this girl at all. She just smiled and smiled for me, and I couldn't have been more thrilled with how they turned out! It was hot, and she was such a trooper! These photos are the epitome of a southern little girl!

Favorites (Fall Sessions)

Families, Newborns, PortraitsLaura KittrellComment

It has been such a busy 2016 already, and the end of 2015 was crazy as well. I have gotten so far behind with adding posts to the blog, particularly sharing all of my photography. I still plan to go back and share my other weddings from the fall as well as several engagement and bridal sessions. However, I wanted to share some favorites from my other fall sessions. Ideally, each of these would get their own individual blog post, but alas...life. I am going to try and do better with blogging! :)

It was SO hard to narrow down favorites from this fall! These sessions were so fun! It is exciting to have returning clients, and get to watch families grow and kiddos get bigger! I also had several new clients, and enjoyed meeting them as well! I am so grateful for the sweet families that I get to shoot! It is truly such a blessing!

Sarah Lynn (3 months)

It's hard to believe that I just did this girls 6 month photos (which I can't wait to share), but back in December we took some 3 month photos! I met up at their gorgeous home. I love doing shoots at home. It was casual, but so beautiful! Her parents have become sweet friends of ours and it was so fun to take her pictures and watch this little peanut grow! Sarah Lynn is a little ham and was so sweet!

Anna (senior)

To be honest, I don't do a ton of senior sessions. I tend to do more weddings, engagements, and families. However, I LOVE when I get to do them. I don't have to worry about anything! Usually, by the time they are seniors, they don't have to be bribed to smile :) Anna was a JOY to work with! She is beautiful and so sweet! We had a blast and she was just so easy to work with! It was also such a pretty fall day with some amazing colors on the trees! Thanks for letting me take these for you Anna! It was so fun!

Yes, insanely enough I am just getting around to blogging some pictures from October and November. Craziness! But, I didn't want to let these beautiful sessions pass without showing you! In October I met up with Stephanie and Andrew. I had taken photos of them before, but was so excited to take maternity pictures! It was the most perfect fall day and Stephanie was literally glowing!

Then, in November, they welcomed their precious son, Bennett. When I did his pictures he was so sweet! He was so content and it was such a fun session!

Also, I was totally amazed with how he held his head up. Umm...hello, my name is Bennett and I am only a few days old!

Isn't Stephanie just the most beautiful mommy?

Andrew and Stephanie, thank you so much for letting me take these pictures for you! It's such a privilege!

The Whatley Family

I have known this sweet family for a long time! Melissa is a good friend and I was even privileged to be at the birth of this sweet baby boy! Ty was such an angel for these two month photos. We did some of him, but mom wanted several of she and Ty. We had a perfect afternoon taking pictures at their home and the place where she and Tyler were married. It has held so many memories for them! I was so happy to take these for you Melissa!

I was so excited when this mom contacted me! I have seen pictures of this family for a long time and always thought they were just the cutest! These three are ALL BOY! We had so much fun during our shoot. It was a really hot September afternoon, and these boys did great considering the heat. Thank you so much for letting me take this Johnson family!

I love these pictures! So candid! So cute! They are such a cute family! Mom is a little outnumbered with boys, but she handles them so well! :)
